Open workshop · Mumbai · Two days · Seasonal batches · Also for campus-hire intakes

Grooming & Etiquette for Young Professionals: campus to corporate, in two days.

For college students, fresh graduates, management trainees and first-jobbers. First impressions, conversation, dining, digital conduct, workplace readiness and early presence, practised in a small cohort on the Sabira Merchant curriculum. Batches run after the exam season and in the summer.

Who it is for

Two days before the first day that counts

An interview, an internship, a first job. Young adults are judged on conduct long before anyone reads their marks. This workshop gives them the conduct, and the confidence that comes from having practised it.

  • College students, for lecture halls, societies and the first interviews
  • Fresh graduates preparing for interviews, internships and networking
  • Management trainees and graduate engineers in their first months
  • First-time job seekers who want their image and interview conduct sorted
  • Young professionals in their first two or three years who want to be taken seriously earlier
  • Young adults aged 18 to 28, whichever stage they are at

By the end of two days, participants will be able to

  • Present a clean, appropriate and confident image for a lecture hall, a party or an interview
  • Introduce themselves, hold a conversation and listen, without the nerves showing
  • Sit at a formal table, and a casual one, and know what to do
  • Write an email, send a message and behave online in a way that would survive a hiring manager’s search
  • Arrive on time, take feedback, work with a manager and keep a promise
  • Deliver a short presentation and leave with a personal development plan for the year ahead

For parents

What a parent is paying for

Two days, a small cohort, and faculty who notice. Your son or daughter leaves with a certificate, the reference materials, a written personal development plan and, usually, a noticeably straighter back. The curriculum is Sabira Merchant’s, the etiquette and diction coach to Femina Miss India winners, adapted for people at the start of their working life.

Parents do not sit in. Participants are treated as adults from the first minute, because that is the point. If you would like to talk it through before booking, an L&D consultant will call you.

For HR and campus hiring

Run it for your intake

Management trainee batches, graduate engineer intakes and campus hires. The same two days, run in-company at your office or a venue, before day one or within the first month, adjusted to your industry and dress code, with attendance and assessment reporting per participant.

Questions

Who conducts the sessions?

Every programme is designed and overseen by Sabira Merchant. Sessions are delivered by faculty she has trained and certified on her curriculum. Depending on the format, batch and schedule, Ms Merchant may conduct part of a session personally. The content, the standards and the assessment are hers in every case.

My daughter is nineteen and still in college. Is this suitable for her?

Yes. The workshop is designed for young adults from about eighteen to twenty-eight, and a second-year college student is squarely in range. Sessions assume no prior exposure to a formal workplace. Participants are treated as adults, the cohort is mixed, and faculty give individual feedback privately. Parents do not sit in, and are welcome to speak to an L&D consultant before booking.

Is it two full days?

Yes, two consecutive days, usually 9.30 am to 5.30 pm, with lunch and tea included. The second day’s lunch is the dining practical.

When do batches run?

Seasonally, when students and fresh graduates are free: after the exam season and through the summer. Additional batches open when a group asks for one. Message an L&D consultant for the next date.

Can three friends book together?

Yes. Three or more who register together are priced as a group, with one fee and one payment link. Many participants come with classmates, which also makes the role plays easier on day one.

Can a company send its management trainees?

Yes, either as seats in an open batch or as an in-company programme for the whole intake, run at your office or a venue with reporting per participant. See For Companies for how a programme is scoped.

How do I register?

Choose a batch above and message an L&D consultant on WhatsApp, or email register@princetonacademy.co.in with the dates you want. You will receive the fee, the venue and a payment link. Seats are confirmed on payment.
